Tonight we welcome Richard King! Richard is a veteran drummer, soundman, and a restorer and seller of vintage drum sets. We had a great conversation, talking about the music scene in Baltimore, DC, Georgetown and Annapolis, some of the clubs we both performed in, and remembering when radio stations like WIYY and WKTK had albums which featured local artists. He also told me about some of his drum clients, like Charlie Watts of the Rolling Stones, Fred Eltringham of Cheryl Crow, Cindy Blackman Santana of Santana, Cactus Moser of Wynonna Judd, and Jay Bellerose, currently working on the Alison Kraus/Robert Plant Album, and others. He is currently performing with "Big Money Blues Band", "Music Room", "Patrick Alban Noche Latina", and he formerly performed with bands such as "Spellbinder", "Caribash" and "Kashmir" (and John Hall's "Orleans").
