Today we visited with Director Andrea Kilcup and Co-Executive Director Steve Nerangis about their latest creation "Hammerjacks-The Rockumentary: You Had To Be There" from Varla Dogwood Films. I recently viewed this movie, and it was absolutely wonderful. The filmmakers did a wonderful job of re-creating the Hammerjacks experience-the biggest nightclub on the east coast in the 80s and 90s. It was an escape to a time in my life that I will always remember fondly, and it was wonderful to re-live those memories watching this film.
Featured in the film are past Fowl Players Radio guests Bud Becker, Nestor Aparicio, Mike Brilhart, Pete Colussi, and David Simmons of DC Star.
