John started his career at the age of 6 in print ads, and went on to star on TV as a child actor in such productions as "Leave it to Beaver" (the "Beaver gets 'spelled" and "Long Distance" Episodes - the latter with Don Drysdale) "The Twilight Zone" ("The Fugitive" episode with J. Pat O'Malley and Nancy Culp)
and others from the 1950's and 60's such as "The Lloyd Bridges Show", "McKeever and The Colonel", "Bachelor Father", "Wagon Train", "Have Gun, Will Travel", and "Petticoat Junction".
